What is Physical Literacy at this stage?

It is important to continue a lifestyle which still provides opportunities to engage in sport and physical activities at this stage. This could be through family activities also acting as a role model or individually by taking part in sport via fun and social initiatives.

What can I do to play my part?

At this stage in life, many different responsibilities command time, but it is important to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Options such as family friendly activities, recreational activities and even adapted versions of sports can offer opportunities for individuals at these stages in life. Coaching and volunteering also offer options for staying active and involved in sport.

Are you offering a varied menu for the different adult groups in the community?

Having the option to also meet up with friends in a fun, social environment gives the feel good factor and motivates older adults to stay engaged and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Are you offering these types of activities?

Do you want to introduce something new and innovative into your community to motivate people to engage?

How can you play your part in this?
