What is Physical Literacy at this stage?

The wide range of skills developed from being engaged in sport and physical activity in earlier years can ‘open up lots of doors’ to other opportunities in life. This could result in coaching, volunteering, job opportunities and joining various networks.

What can I do to play my part?

At this stage in life, many different responsibilities command time, but you can ensure you retain membership with suitable provision. It is important to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Therefore, options such as family friendly activities, recreational activities and even adapted versions of sports can offer opportunities for individuals at these stages in life.

Are you offering a varied menu for the different adult groups in the community?

Having the option to also meet up with friends in a fun, social environment gives the feel good factor and motivates older adults to stay engaged and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Are you offering these types of activities?

Do you want to introduce something new and innovative into your community to motivate people to engage? How can you play your part in this?
